Craigends is an ancient estate near Houston in Renfrewshire, Scotland (around 10 miles from Glasgow). It covers an area in the region of 37 acres. Once one of the finest country estates in all of Scotland, Craigends is now a "commuter village", and is entirely residential in character. Although some pockets of venerable woodland remain the landscape is currently dominated by over 1,000 private houses which were built during the 1970s, 80s and 90s.
