Craigends Lodge Horsechestnuts

also South Lodge Horsechestnuts

We free-wheeled down and found ourselves at a gate house where there were the biggest chestnut trees in the world and at their feet the best conkers ever. A gold mine!! There were people living in the gatehouse at the time and there was a big dug roaming about. It took a while for us to realize that it was chained up so we went in and gathered conkers.
